Middleton and Rochdale City Learning Centres (CLCs) provide inspirational learning opportunities to a mixed ability range of students from across the whole of Rochdale. The CLCs actively work with its partner secondary and primary schools in a range of projects and have an active role in promoting opportunities to the wider community for life long learning, facilitating a range of activities to meet local community needs. The CLCs aim to improve students' aspirations, achievement and attainment levels through the use of new technology, developing and experimenting with creative and innovative ways of delivering teaching and learning and improve students' employment prospects.
The CLCs have been successful in developing a range of links aimed at enriching curriculum delivery, improving attendance through improved motivation and increase staying on rates in post 16 education. We specialise in curriculum support for ICT, Creative Media and Design & Technology.
