Summer School at Rochdale CLC

Rochdale CLC will be holding a five day CLC 'Enterprise CAD-CAM' Summer School between Monday 2 August and Friday 6 August 2010 (second week of the summer break).

The event, running each day between 9.15am and 3.00pm, is open to a maximum of 30 students who are currently in Years 5, 6, 7 & 8 at any Rochdale school. Students will learn how to design and make a range of products including, clocks, games, mouse mats, mugs, printed t-shirts, bags, etc. Students will choose one of their product design and produce a marketing campaign which will include creating a radio or television advert and website to promote the product.

There will be an opportunity for students to present their work to a judging panel and prizes will be awarded for the 'Best Product', 'Best Advertising Campaign' and 'Best Judges Presentation'.

The Summer School is FREE and includes lunch and refreshments each day!
