Computer Suite 1 at Rochdale CLC is a recently refurbished, fully equipped computer-aided design and manufacture facility and teaching room.

Computer Suite 1 consists of thirty three 17" Apple iMacs situated around four student work pods which allow for a range of individual and group activities. The accommodation also benefits from a fully integrated Smart 680i interactive whiteboard, colour laser printer and access to a large format (A1) colour inkjet printer and laminator.

Students and teachers using Computer Suite 1 have access to a wide range of education and 'industry standard' 2D and 3D software which enables students to undertake design work for Design and Technology resistant materials or textiles with students from Year 3 up to Year 11.

Computer Suite 1 is adjacent to the CAD CAM Manufacturing Suite which allows small groups to access workshop equipment during the design, prototyping and manufacturing processes. For further details please contact John McKiernan on 0161 653 9123.
